Motorola recently launched the new Moto G-series and Moto E-series smartphones. While these devices are yet to be made available in the majority of the markets, a new Moto device called Motorola One Power is now leaked online. As of now, the Motorola One is unofficially confirmed to launch in the U.S. However, we need to wait for the official confirmation about the availability of this device in other markets.
It’s interesting that the company has named it as Motorola One Power and not Moto One Power. The device comes with a metal body with rounded corners and curved edges. The device will be launched as Android One device and comes with guaranteed monthly security patch updates and two major Android updates. Last year’s Moto X4 is also an Android One device and the company is now rumored to abandon the X-series.
On the front, the Motorola One Power sports a notch display. We are seeing the notch on a Motorola smartphone for the time and also its relatively bigger than the notches seen on other Android devices. There are also relatively thicker bezels on the top and bottom of the device. On the bottom chin, we can also see the Motorola branding. On the rear, there are dual rear cameras with LED flash in the middle.
Also, the device lacks the Moto dimple on the rear. However, we can find the Moto M logo on the circular fingerprint sensor. While the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge, the SIM card is on the left edge. As of now, we are yet to get the other details including the specifications and pricing. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details about the upcoming Motorola One Power smartphone.
