As a part of Holi promotional sale, Oppo has cut the price of its A7 and A5 smartphones in India. The Oppo A7 4G RAM variant which was priced at Rs. 16,990 is now available for Rs. 15,990 while the price of Oppo A5 reduced to Rs. 11,990 which was retailing at Rs. 13,990. This price drop is applicable through Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm, TataCliq, Snapdeal and all Oppo retail stores across India.
The Oppo A7 features a 6.2-inch HD+ In-Cell display with a 19:9 aspect ratio with 88.3 Scree-to-body ratio. The handset comes with water drop notch display and under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 506 GPU coupled with 4GB / 3GB of RAM. There is a 13MP main camera on the rear along with a 2MP secondary camera and has a 16MP selfie camera. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back and is powered with a 4230mAh battery.
It came out of the box with Android 8.1 Oreo Operating system with the companies own Color OS 5.2 on top and is available in 64GB option which can be extended further up to a maximum of 256GB via microSD card slot. On the other hand, the Oppo A5 also comes with the same operating system with Colour OS 5.1 on top. There is a 6.2-inch HD+ screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio. To power the handset there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC with a clocking speed of 1.8 GHz coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
Furthermore, it has a 13MP camera sensor on the rear along with a 2MP sensor with f/2.2 and f/2.4 aperture respectively. For selfies, Oppo has provided an f/2.2 lens with an 8MP camera sensor and has a 4230mAh battery on the back with 32GB of internal storage that can be extended further up to 256GB via microSD card slot.
