- Specs of the Lenovo Legion gaming phone have been spotted in a retail listing.
- The company’s first gaming phone will be unveiled on July 22.
More details of the Lenovo Legion gaming phone have spilled a week prior to its official launch. Spotted in a preorder listing on JD.com (h/t: Gizmochina,) the retailer does all it can to hide the physical appearance of Lenovo’s first gaming phone, but doesn’t do as good a job with the specs listed in the headline.
Confirmed once more is the presence of the Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset that’s also set to power the Asus ROG Phone 3. The chipset should be a stock feature in gaming phones this year pushing the clock speeds envelope beyond 3GHz. No RAM or storage figures are listed, but earlier rumors suggest the use of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.

As for charging, the previously-teased 90W Super Flash charge technology is mentioned once more. This will likely set the initial bar for fast charging speeds this year, but the likes of Oppo and Realme are set to push this benchmark beyond the 100W threshold.
As a gaming phone, the Lenovo Legion will sport a 144Hz refresh rate display and dual x-axis vibration motor system for haptic feedback, which was teased on Weibo by Lenovo earlier this month.
The Lenovo Legion gaming phone is set to launch on July 22. As a stark departure to the leak-heavy year that has been 2020, we’ve not yet seen the Legion in the flesh. However, considering Lenovo did tease these ambitious renders complete with a side-mounted pop-up camera, we’d expect the design to be anything but conservative.
