Samsung used to launch two flagship smartphones in the first half of every year under the Galaxy S series. However, it came up with four Galaxy S10 variants this year. While we usually see only one Galaxy Note smartphone, the latest reports suggest the company might launch four Galaxy Note models in 2019. Last week, we heard rumors about the Galaxy Note 10 coming in 6.4-inch and 6.7-inch screen sizes.
Before going any further, take these details with a pinch of salt as they come from unconfirmed sources. The company will launch 6.28-inch and 6.75-inch Galaxy Note 10 smartphones with triple and quad rear cameras respectively. Both these variants will be launched with and without 5G support. Under the Galaxy S10 lineup, the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10 Plus come with LTE support. Only the bigger Galaxy S10 5G supports the 5G networks.
Going by the previous Galaxy Note unveilings, the upcoming Galaxy Note 10 devices will come powered by 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset in the US, China, and Korea. Other parts of the world will be getting the in-house 8nm Exynos 9820 powered devices. Talking about the 5G equipped Galaxy Note 10 devices, the inclusion of 5G modem could be the only major difference compared to LTE variant.
While the last-gen S Pen came with Bluetooth connectivity, the S Pen with the upcoming Galaxy Note 10 is rumored to come with a camera. Last year’s Galaxy Note 9 came with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with Quad HD+ (2960 x 1440 pixels) resolution. It is powered by Exynos 9810 or Snapdragon 845 chipset based on the markets. It was launched with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/512GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy Note 9 sports a 12MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom and a 12MP wide-angle sensor with a variable aperture on the rear. For selfies, there is an 8MP sensor on the front. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details about the upcoming Galaxy Note smartphone!
