2019 iPhones with New Triple Rear Cameras to come in 6.1” and 6.5” OLED screen-sizes: Report

This year’s iPhones were said to be featuring new triple rear cameras similar to what we have seen on the Huawei Mate 20 triple cameras on the back, according to earlier reports that surfaced on the web and according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo as well. However, there’s a new report indicating more to the previous reports and suggesting the 2019 iPhones new screen sizes as well.

The latest report from Japanese blog Macotakara has shared some insights regarding the display sizes of the upcoming iPhones line-up that feature the new triple camera setup. The report had revealed that there would be two new iPhone models this September featuring the new triple rear cameras set up and would be featuring a 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch OLED displays respectively.

Further, the report indicates the 6.1-inch OLED iPhone would be sized in between the current iPhone XS and the iPhone XR models. It also reveals the 6.1-inch model would be thicker than the XS by a margin on 0.15mm, however, the new triple rear camera bump would be reduced by 0.5mm when compared to the current dual rear camera setup.

And, the 6.5-inch model is also said to be 0.4mm thicker than the current iPhone XS Max, and the camera bulge is likely to be 0.25mm lesser as well. However, the overall thickness of the 6.5-inch model would be 0.2mm thicker than the Xs Max.

And, lastly, the Japanese blog report concludes that these two new OLED models would be shipping with USB-C-Lighting cable and the 18W USB-C power adapter out-of-the-box instead of the regular lightning cable and 5W power adapter. If the report is believed to be true, then we can expect new iPhones product portfolio in addition to current successors of the trio of iPhones released last year. Stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more such interesting updates.
