Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) getting Android 9 Pie Update in India

The South Korean Giant has started rolling out Android 9 Pie Update to its Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) in India. The update will bring Android Security patch for the month of February along with OneUI which will also bring Android Pie flavor. The Android 9 Pie for Galaxy A8+ started earlier this month in Russia and now it started rolling out in India. The update comes with the firmware version A730FXXU4CSCD.

The size of the download is 1233.38MB and this also brings the revamped OneUI on the device. If you have not received the update, go to the setting of your phone and check for it manually from the system updates section. If the file is available, download it and then install. Make sure the battery on the device more than 60 percent and back up all the data to be on the safe side.

The Galaxy A8+ (2018) was launched in India last year January and comes powered with  64-bit Exynos 7885 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G71 GPU coupled with 6GB of RAM. There is a 6-inch FHD+ (1080×2220 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and has an onboard memory of 64GB which can be extended further up to a maximum of 256GB via microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the device has a 16MP main camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture size and dual LED flash while on the front there is a dual camera setup of 16MP + 8MP for the selfies lovers.
