Samsung Galaxy A40 Online listing Reveals Android 9 Pie & More

Samsung Galaxy A40 has been in the leaks from a few days and now it has been listed online on the European site which reveals all the specifications of the handset. The smartphone was leaked yesterday also with its press shots surfacing online. According to the listing, the upcoming device will be coming with Infinity-U Super AMOLED display and will have a 3D Glasstic back similar to what we have seen on the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50.

The Galaxy A40 will be powered by an Octa-Core (2.2GHz Dual + 1.6GHz Hexa) Exynos 7885 14nm SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and Mali-G71 GPU. The onboard storage is limited to 64GB that can be extended further up to a maximum of 512GB via microSD card slot. It will be coming out of the box with Android 9 Pie operating system with the companies own Samsung One UI on top and might get further updates when available.

The handset has a 5.9-inch Full HD+ display with a fingerprint sensor place on the rear side. For selfie lovers, there is a 25MP sensor on the front while on the rear, we can find a 16MP camera with LED flash accompanied by a secondary 5MP ultra-wide angle camera. The volume rockers and power buttons are placed on the right of the device an infinity-U notch display can be seen on the front giving minimum display size. Furthermore, there is a 3100mAh Battery on the rear to power the device.

The device supports dual SIM connectivity and has other connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, A_GPS, Bluetooth v4.2 and few more. The Galaxy A40 will be made available in Black, White, Blue, and Orange color options and has been listed for 249 Euros (approx Rs. 19,500, $282) and is expected to go for sale starting 10th April in Europe.
