Samsung has confirmed that its upcoming foldable smartphone will be launched in the first half of 2019 and at the CES 2019, the South Korean Giant has showcased the Galaxy F prototype to the client behind the screen. The Galaxy F or the so-called Foldable smartphone from Samsung is one of the most awaited devices and has been in the rumor mill from a long time now. A few months back, in November, the company has also shown us the hidden render of the phone and also revealed Infinity Flex and One UI interface.
At the ongoing event, many of the partners have seen what this foldable device can do and looks like they have been impressed with the same although there are few issues that are yet to be fixed on the upcoming device. Even now, we do not have any official name out for this foldable device as the company has not confirmed it yet. The pricing of the device is also not known yet but it is said to be very expensive, even expensive than the latest iPhones.
Samsung will be launching more than two flagship phones this year if that happens this will be the first time for them. The device is rumored to be priced around $1500 to $2000 ad Furthermore, the Director of Product Strategy and Marketing Suzanne de Silva told to DigitalTrends that the device should be hitting the stores in the first half of 2019. He didn’t give the actual launch date of the phone but mentioned that the upcoming device will be using Infinity Flex screen which Samsung has unveiled earlier.
As we know, Samsung is also getting ready to bring its Galaxy S10 smartphones next month and might be hitting the store early March.
