Oppo R15 Pro Launched in India with 6.28” Super-V Display & 6GB RAM

The smartphone maker Oppo has launched its R15 Pro smartphone in India for Rs. 25,990. The device was introduced in China last year as R15 Dream Mirror Edition and comes with a 6.28-inch FHD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio OLED display with a notch giving a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent and it is called as Super-V Display. The device will be exclusively available via Amazon India in Cosmic Purple and Ruby Red color variants.

The Oppo R15 Pro smartphone comes with a 6.28-inch Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) OLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 401 ppi. Further, the company has provided a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The onboard memory on the handset is 128GB which can be extended further up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

On the front, there is a primary 16MP Sony IMX519 sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a secondary 20 MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture size. On the front side, we can find a 20MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. These also come with AI-based features in the camera application and comes like Animoji like AR stickers. The connectivity options of the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, micro USB 2.0 port, OTG, GPS, A-GPS and few more. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back to enhance the security levels.

The handset measures 155.3 mm × 75.0 mm × 7.5 mm and weighs 175 grams. On the back, there is a 3400mAh battery with the support for the companies VOOC Flash charging technology. Out of the box, it will be coming with Android 8.1 Operating system with ColourOS 5.0 on top. The device can be bought from Amazon India for Rs. 25,990 as mentioned earlier.
