Back in August, Samsung debuted it first Android Go smartphone, the Galaxy J2 Core. It’s only available in select markets at the moment but a few bits of information have suggested that it’s heading to the US. And, going by a couple of new trademarks, it may have a different name.
Just last week, Samsung filed two trademark applications in the US for the “Galaxy J2 Dash” and “Galaxy J2 Pure” names. Presumably, these will be used to distinguish different carrier versions of the Galaxy J2 Core, even if the devices are identical.
