There’s no denying 2018 has been the year of display notches but, moving into 2019, it appears the next trend may be display cut-outs. And just days after Samsung announced its new Infinity-O panel, Huawei has been granted a patent which is related to a similar concept.
For those unaware, Samsung’s new display makes use of a circular cut-out in the top-left corner that will be used for the front-facing camera.
