
Samsung isn't going to be left behind by the likes of Apple, Google or Huawei with their fancy neural network, artificial intelligence or image data crunching co-processors. With the Exynos 9810 in Note 9 and S9 it added a security co-processor to store your biometric data but used a combined hardware and software approach to uphold the "sophisticated" neural network features, instead of a specialized processing unit.
With the Galaxy S10 and Exynos 9820, however, Samsung's new 7nm chipsets will usher in a dedicated co-processor that will be used for neural network tasks, ...
