Garmin Instinct rugged smartwatch goes official

Garmin has just announced the immediate availability of yet another smartwatch aimed at adventurers – Instinct. Garmin Instinct is a rugged smartwatch built for outdoor activities, which doesn't come cheap at all.

The smartwatch is now available for purchase in three colors – Graphite, Flame Red, and Tundra, for $300. Garmin Instinct promises 14 days of battery life in smartwatch mode, 16 hours in GPS mode, or up to 40 hours in UltraTrac battery save mode.

According to Garmin, the Instinct features military-grade 810G standard for thermal, shock and water resistance (up to 100m). ...
