After being in the rumor mills from last few months, the LG V35 ThinQ & V35+ ThinQ are now officially unveiled by the company. As seen in the rumors, the devices will be packing the latest specifications of the LG G7 ThinQ smartphone in the body of the LG V30S ThinQ. The LG V35 ThinQ is totally different from the LG V35 launched in Japan. It comes with the glass sandwich design with curved glass on either side of the metal frame.
On the front, it sports a 6-inch Quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) OLED FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio & supports HDR10 playback. It comes protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. It packs the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 385 CPU and Adreno 630 GPU. While the LG V35 ThinQ offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the LG V35+ ThinQ comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The storage on this device can also be expandable technically up to 2TB using the hybrid SIM card slot. Talking about the cameras, the LG V35 ThinQ sports dual camera setup on the rear featuring 16MP primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture, 71-degree FoV (field of view) and a 16MP secondary camera with f/1.9 aperture and 107-degree FoV. For selfies, the LG V35 ThinQ sports an 8MP front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture and 80-degree FoV.
It is backed by a 3,300mAh non-removable battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging and wireless charging. The device is IP68 certified making it water and dust resistant and is also MIL-STD 810G certified for its durability. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based LG UX UI out of the box. On the rear, we can also spot the circular fingerprint sensor. It sports 32-bit Quad DAC for Hi-Fi audio output and offers DTS: X 3D Surround Sound for an immersive experience.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. It measures 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3 mm and weighs 157 grams. Both the LG V35 ThinQ and V35+ ThinQ will be available in New Aurora Black and New Platinum Gray color options.
